By now, we’ve all seen and hear plenty about the scuffle between Rajon Rondo and Kris Humphries. It led to multiple ejections, and Rondo was suspended for two games for his role. It isn’t the first time he’s been disciplined by the league, and it probably won’t be the last, either.

So, what did he decided to do during his suspension? Hit t weight room? Work on his jumper? Get some treatments? In typical Rajon Rondo fashion, he decided to use his suspension as an opportunity to go to Mexico.

Via Boston.com:

“I wanted to be out there with my teammates but, obviously, a two-game suspension … like I said, I was glued in front of the TV,” said Rondo, who told reporters he went to Mexico during the break. “Hopefully I don’t feel too winded tomorrow. I think I’ve been off for about a week now. We’ll see tomorrow.”

Does this actually surprise anyone? We all know that Rondo marches to the beat of his own drum, whatever that might be. It’s part of what makes him such a good and unique player.

Knowing Rondo, I’m sure he’ll come back from his suspension ready to play. Because, you know, that’s how he does things. Differently.
