Report: Blake Griffin signs with Jordan Brand
It should come as no surprise that the latest member of Jordan Brand is Blake Griffin. The two-time all-start has reportedly inked a deal to join up with fellow NBA stars including Carmelo Anthony, Ray Allen, Joe Johnson and Blake’s teammate, Chris Paul, Via CBS Sports.
The human dunk machine was spotted sporting a pair of cobalt blue Jordans during Wednesday night’s game at home against the Memphis Grizzles. A game in which the Clippers won. Jamal Crawford led the way for LA, while Blake chipped in with 11 points and 7 rebounds.
Griffin just inked a a five-year deal potentially worth $95 million back in July. He’ll now add one of the NBA’s most coveted brands to his resume, by becoming a poster-boy for the widely renowned Jordan Brand.
The high-flying, always energetic Griffin will pose as one of Jordan Brand’s most prolific stars, given his highly appealing game, filled with highlight dunks and acrobatic layups. Griffin also works with Kia, Subway, Nike and most recently posed alongside Derrick Rose and Kevin Durant on the cover for NBA2K13.
Blake has taken the NBA by storm and become one of the league’s most marketable players along the way. I’d expect the endorsements to keep knocking at the 23-year old’s door as he continues to elevate his game and status among superstars in the NBA.
