Roy Hibbert says Paul George is MVP

The Indiana Pacers have turned into a Juggernaut in the eastern conference, leading all teams with a 40-12 record. They only trail the Oklahoma City Thunder (43-12) for best record in the entire league, and Pacers’ center Roy Hibbert, believes it’s because of who he considers to be the NBA’s current MVP, teammate Paul George.

Hibbert forgot that while the Pacers are the best team in the east, they’re still trailing Kevin Durant’s Thunder. I feel like Hibbert forgot that the western conference is much tougher than the eastern conference. I’d also like to add that Durant has better numbers than George does, across the board. So, while Hibbert has a point, his opinion kind of feels a little biased to me.

Paul George has led the Pacers to this great record, behind 22.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game, in a season that is undoubtedly his best as a professional.
