Phoenix Suns star point guard Eric Bledsoe has undergone surgery to repair the meniscus tear in his right knee. His timetable for return is unknown, which means he is out “indefinitely”, but the Suns are optimistic that he will return at some point in the second half of the season. One of the advantages the Suns do have is that they aren’t reliant on one guy to carry them. They have 7 players scoring in double figures and share the ball really well. They should be able to withstand the loss of Bledsoe provided he comes back in time to make a playoff push. That being said, with Bledsoe being out, the Suns will have to rely more heavily on Goran Dragic and Gerald Green in the back court to step up and make winning plays (such as Green’s game winner in Minnesota).
