Tim Duncan

Tim Duncan all time regular season stats: 24,904 points, 13,940 rebounds, 2,791 blocks, and 3,832 assists. Oh, not to mention a few championship rings as well.

He is, without a doubt, a future Hall of Famer and one of the best to ever play the game.

We all know this. Timmy D has claimed and added one more record onto his NBA Hall Of Fame resume, CBS Sports reports Tim Duncan (38) has surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for all time NBA Playoff minutes played.

After playing his fifteen minute in game four of the NBA Finals Thursday night against the Miami Heat, Duncan has 8,852 NBA Playoff minutes in counting, and we still have game 5 to play.

If the Spurs win the 2014 NBA Championship it will be there fifth NBA title in six tries, with their one and only loss in the Finals last season against the Miami Heat. Tim Duncan has been a part of each NBA Finals appearances with the Spurs, and has been in a Spurs jersey since he was drafted in 1997 1st overall.

Duncan, who can easily retire after this season, can leave the NBA with four NBA titles, three NBA Finals MVP awards, two regular season MVP awards, around eight other NBA achievements one being the San Antonio Spurs all time leading scorer. Great job Timmy D!

While this would be seen by many as a very big milestone and accomplishment, I’m sure Tim will shake it off in a humble manner whenever asked about it. In typical Tim Duncan fashion, he’ll probably give all of the credit to Coach Gregg Popovich and his teammates.
