Tobias Harris forces overtime with clutch three
Do you think the Milwaukee Bucks regret trading Tobias Harris for J.J. Redick at the NBA’s trade deadline? If they didn’t before, then they certainly do now. Harris broke Milwaukee’s back last night in Orlando as the Magic squared off against the Bucks.
Harris gets the inbound, makes a move around former teammate, Marquis Daniels, gets held and still converts with a game-tying three-pointer with 1.9 seconds to play in regulation.
Harris had a chance to take the 96-95 lead as he headed to the line for the elusive four-point-play, but his free throw rolled off the rim and sent the game into overtime. The Magic managed to outplay the Bucks in OT, and walked away with the 113-103 win over the visiting Bucks’ squad. Tobias Harris notched 30 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists in the win, while Nikola Vucevic added 30 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists of his own. The two youngsters made a HUGE statement against a playoff team.
The Magic may be lottery-bound, but with a fresh crop of young, productive players, such as Harris, Vucevic, Moe Harkless and Aaron Afflalo, the future seems bright for new general manager Rob Hennigan, and the Orlando Magic.
