Ty Lawson Believes He’s Most Underrated Player In NBA

  • Mark Evans

For a variety of reasons, the Denver Nuggets took a step back this year. I guess that happens when you lose your coach, general manager, and one of your top players in Andre Iguodala.

Ty Lawson missed his fair share of games due to injury, a huge blow considering he’s most likely the best player on the roster. While few would argue his talent, Lawson apparently doesn’t believe that he gets the credit he deserves. Lawson responded to a tweet, below, in which he said that he is the most underrated player in the league.

Maybe he doesn’t get his fair share of attention in Denver. There are tons of great point guards in the league today, and Lawson definitely gets buried in the shuffle a little. It also doesn’t help that we’ve never seen him make a huge playoff impact.

It looks like the Nuggets will be building around Lawson moving forward, so he’ll have his chance to make sure that he’s no longer underrated.

Lawson averaged 17.6 points and 8.8 assists in 62 games this season.
