VIDEO: Kobe Bryant says the Lakers can’t guard the Thunder
When Kobe Bryant was asked whether or not the Lakers’ players could guard the Thunder players during a press conference after LA’s game one loss in the second round of the western conference playoffs, Kobe responded by simply saying “no”.
Kobe seems to be sarcastic or even a bit insulted by the question, but the proof is in the box score. The Lakers got blown out by the younger, faster Oklahoma City Thunder by a whopping 29 points.
Bryant scored 20 points but it wasn’t enough as the Thunder beat the Lakers 119-90 in Oklahoma City on Monday night.
The action picks back up on Wednesday night in Oklahoma City as the Thunder host the determined Lakers in game two in a best of seven series.
