WATCH: Bradley Beal with a HUGE dunk, plus the harm
The New York Knicks continued their playoff fight against the Washington Wizards, at home, on Friday night. The Knicks were desperately clinging to the NBA’s 8th seed, but with a 90-89 loss to the Wizards, and an Atlanta Hawks 117-98 victory over the Celeveland Cavaliers, the Knicks have dropped back down into 9th place, while the Hawks slid into the 8th spot.
The dunk of the game was Bradley Beal’s leak-out, and a great connection from John Wall on the fast break. Beal catches a great pass in stride, and dunks it home. Of course, J.R. Smith makes the crucial mistake of fouling Beal on the dunk, and sending him to the free throw line.
This slam put the Wizards up 85-84. The Wizards would hold on to win 90-89, behind big finishes from Beal and Wall. Bradley Beal had 28 points on the night, and is starting to become a big burden for the Knicks every time they meet.
