WATCH: LeBron and Durant combine for 14 points in two minutes
We all waited in anticipation, as LeBron James and Kevin Durant squared-off in Miami on Wednesday night.
Durant came in, riding 36.6 points per game in 2014, while LeBron James and the Miami Heat had won five of their last six games. The dual between the league’s two leading MVP candidates was on.
This video shows LeBron and KD exchanging shots over the course of the last couple of minutes of the third quarter. The two combine for a total of 14 points in about two minutes of play. Durant notched eight points in this stretch, while LBJ added six.
Respect to both players, as they went blow for blow in this stretch. LeBron finished with a game-high 34-points, but Durant’s 33-points led the Thunder to a 112-95 road win over the reigning champions. The Thunder have now won nine straight games, and are beginning to build a nice lead int he western conference, with a 37-10 record.
