PHOTO: Bruins player carves “U C L A” into Arizona State midfield pitchfork

One of the marquee college football matchups this weekend goes off this Thursday night as the #10 UCLA Bruins (3-0) take on the #12 Arizona State Sun Devils (3-0) in Tempe, Arizona.  The tilt is likely to give the winner an inside track to the Pac 12 South title.  The Pac 12 South title begats the Pac 12 title begats a possible playoff berth.  Big game.  The magnitude of the game wasn’t lost on one UCLA player, who carved the letters “U C L A” into the mid-field pitchfork at Sun Devil Stadium presumably during pregame walkthroughs.  Check out the Tweet by Brad Denny, ASU football Sportswriter at 3TV:

Not much you can do about it now.  My attitude is not to anger the bee hive.  We’ll see if that’s what an unnamed UCLA player did when they square off later tonight.
