During the Arizona Cardinals practice on Monday starting defensive end Darnell Dockett went down with an apparent leg injury. Reports claim Dockett injured his right leg about an hour into practice and was then carted off of the field.

Dockett injured his leg during an 11-on-11 scrimmage though it is unknown which part of his leg he was clenching. Center Lyle Sendlein, whom has an injured calf and missed week two of the preseason, helped Dockett to the cart.

After cautiously walking to the cart and lying down on it Dockett held his hands on his head in supposed disbelief. The Cardinals are certainly holding their breath with the hopes that this is not a serious injury, especially since they have been struck with the injury bug recently.

Check back with Phoenix Sports-Kings for updates on the Dockett injury.
