James Harrison not expected to sign for Cardinals, per agent
The Arizona Cardinals invited former Pittsburgh Steeler and Cincinnati Bengal outside linebacker James Harrison for a visit on Wednesday. The five-time Pro Bowler was expected to be for depth if an offer was made and signed.
However, according to Harrison’s agent via ESPN Insider Adam Schefter, he’s not expected to sign with the team.
James Harrison’s agent, Bill Parise, said as well as his client’s visit went with Cardinals, he is not expected to sign there.

Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians worked alongside Harrison when they were both with the Steelers so many assumed it was a natural fit for the two to reunite in Arizona. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
This will likely come as a small relief to many fans. If it’s not the interception that cost the Cardinals the Super Bowl in 2008 or his history with fines, it’s the cat he’s not the player he once was. He’s much slower and probably wouldn’t have offered much.
