Mark Trumbo Injured With Stress Fracture in left foot
There is more terrible news from within the Arizona Diamondbacks organization other than their dismal start to this season. Starting left fielder Mark Trumbo has missed the last two games with what is said to be a stress fracture in his left foot. It is said that he will seek a second opinion once the Dbacks return home from Chicago Thursday, which gives fans a sense of hope.
Following the win, Gibby announced that MRI on Trumbo shows an apparent stress fracture in his left foot. Will seek second opinion at home

After a hot start to his first season in the desert, Trumbo is currently only batting .210. Except, he leads the National League in home runs with seven, and is also second in the N.L. in runs batted in with 19. Trumbo, 28, has a bright future ahead of him in Arizona. After being traded to the Diamondbacks from Anaheim for pitching prospect Tyler Skaggs in a three team trade that included sending outfielder Adam Eaton to the White Sox.
I truly believe that once Mark Trumbo recovers from this injury he will settle in this season and have a season to remember individually. Not to mention the combination of Paul Goldschmidt and Mark Trumbo in the lineup is truly deadly. Lets all just hope that Trumbo is able to recover relatively quickly without causing the injury to worsen.
