WATCH: Martin Prado’s ‘dirt bath’ celebration goes mainstream

  • Marcus Burnan

Martin Prado, the Arizona Diamondbacks’ outfielder has popularized a celebration that involves squirting water on te neck of a team mate who scores the winning run and then rubbing a fistful of dirt into the wet neck area.

And so the ‘dirt bath’ was born.

But it doesn’t stop at the baseball field.  The following video from the Arizona Diamondbacks sees the dirt bath being used in Subway, business meetings and even in family kitchens.  It almost looks annoying enough to not want to bother hitting a walk-off home run.
