Down 22, Suns Stun Timberwolves 127-120
The Phoenix Suns, traveled to Minnesota Sunday morning, to end up dropping 41 points in the first quarter to the Timberwolves the Suns, played slow and sloppy dropping turnovers and missed chances. The trend this season for the Phoenix Suns have been second half comebacks. Having quality wins over teams like the Trailblazers, Pacers, Spurs and Clippers the Suns are use to being down, scratching and clawing back and winning the in fourth. The Suns did that once again Sunday afternoon.
Down 22 at one point, Markieff Morris, and Goran Dragic statistically helped the Suns not only win the game but break the gap. Morris ended the game with, 25 points and 8 rebounds, Dragic, with 18 points and 6 assists. At the end of the second, Suns outscored the Wolves 36-32, third quarter same results, Suns kept it up and outscored Minnesota, 31-30 and the fourth was basically a wild come back winning the game and the quarter outscoring them, 34-17. Was this Phoenix’s win? Or Minnesota’s down fall that made this a ball game? The Timberwolves have been a injury pron let down this year, expecting to make the playoffs and currently being at, 34-34 while the Phoenix Suns are fighting for a 8th seed playoff spot at, 41-29.
It seemed every player stepped up for the Suns, six players had over ten points, and every player who saw minutes in the game, scored. Phoenix stuns the Timberwolves 127-120.
