Before the Suns’ huge showdown against the Memphis Grizzlies, Suns forward P.J. Tucker was presented with the 2013-2014 Majerle Hustle Award at US Airways Center.

The award is presented to the Suns player that most displays the kind of hustle and heart that Suns legend Dan Majerle did in his playing days. Tucker also won the award last year, making him the award’s first ever back-t0-back winner.

“P.J.’s incredible work ethic has earned him the Majerle Hustle Award for the second year in a row,” said Ring of Honor member Dan Majerle. “It’s been exciting to watch him grow as a player and become a leader on this team. P.J. does the little things to help his team win, and that’s the epitome of what the Majerle Hustle Award represents.”

P.J. was selected through five voting categories: Suns fans, Suns coaches, Suns players, Suns employees, and Thunder Dan himself. A $9,000 donation will also be made to the charity of Tucker’s choice. Congrats to P.J.
