Last Sunday was business as usual for a  Rattlers squad continuing to write history. Arizona’s defense harassed  Aaron Garcia throughout the night, dismantling  his  protection from the line, and forcing him into making  several poor decisions.  He was intercepted three times, two of which were hauled in by defensive back Marquis Floyd.  After struggling with an ineffective  performance and also taking a shot to the ribs from Quinn Pitcock, Garcia was  pulled in the 2nd half  in favor of Tyler Hansen.

The KISS went into the 3rd quarter down 35-19, hoping to mount a comeback. Their efforts were  futile, as Hanson and his team were unable to find the end zone in the 2nd half. Despite being able to move the ball swiftly  down-field, the Rattler’s red-zone  defense bended, but would not break.  Arizona continued to run up the score in Los Angeles. At one  point, it appeared effortless for the Rattlers offense. Davila lobbed a pass to a wide open Rod Windsor, who jogged his way into the end-zone for an easy touchdown reception. The Rattlers cruised their way to 70-25 victory, dumping the KISS and improving their record to 10-0.

The snakes return to the desert next weekend, as they’ll  prepare to face their toughest challenge yet. Russ Michna and the 7-3  San Jose SaberCats will be in town to try and hand the Rattlers their first loss of the season. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30pm local time.
