If there was a signature defensive play in the 2013 MLB season, it would be Milwaukee Brewers All-Star CF Carlos Gomez running full speed to the warning track, crashing into the wall, giving up his body, and always making the catch. The theme repeated itself Thursday night, as Gomez made a twisting catch and crashed full speed into the wall at Miller Park in Milwaukee. The play robbed Cincinnati Reds 2B Brandon Phillips of extra bases (courtesy of MLB.com):
