Clay Buchholz has Esophagitis

Getting better

According to MLB, Boston Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz has been diagnosed with esophagitis. This is actually good news for the Sox, as there was reason for serious concern because Buchholz was recently hospitalized due to intestinal bleeding. It is said that the esophagitis led to the bleeding, and Buchholz is expected to make a full recovery. He is currently on the 15-day disabled list due to the hospitalization.

Buchholz is currently 8-2, with a 5.53 ERA.
