David Wright Hits A Blast Over Jerry Seinfeld Who Tweets (Video)

Washington Nationals held a 4-1 lead heading into the ninth inning as David Wright smacked the first pitch thrown by Tyler Clippard over the right center wall for a solo home run. The blast cut the lead down to a two run deficit. David Wright’s homer landed over the Seinfeld billboard, and guess who happen to be watching the game… Jerry Seinfeld himself. Seinfeld instantly tweets to the world about the close call of his head getting ripped off.

Clippard managed to get the next two batters out on strikes before serving up his second solo home run to Jason Bay, narrowing the lead down to one.  Tyler bounced back as he faced and struck out pinch hitter Jordany Valdespin. With the third strikeout of the inning, the game ended, giving the 4-3 victory to the NL East leading Washington Nationals.  The New York Mets continued their woes, as they have now dropped their sixth straight game.
