#FlashbackFriday: Albert Pujols, From #1 to #500

  • Kevin Smith

José Alberto Pujols Alcántara, the man we know simply as Albert Pujols, is the man with undoubtedly the monstrous bat in the MLB.

Pujols has been the quintessential power home run hitter for over a decade and a ball player that does everything to make sure succeeds with a victory.

That is why back on April 6, 2001 for the St. Louis Cardinals, he hit a home run against the Arizona Diamondbacks that would ultimately be the first of many in his legendary career:

On April 22, 2014 with the Los Angeles Angels, he would solidify his membership in to a rare club hitting his 500th career home run:

With Pujols at the age of 34, we’re excited to see how many more home runs he’ll hit. And maybe, just maybe, reach the throne of home run hitting records.
