ALCS MVP, Alcides Escobar, could not have scripted his first World Series at-bat any better.  Escobar smacked a Matt Harvey’s first pitch toward left-center where Yoenis Cespedes was thought to have a play on it but ended up misreading the ball and on to the races Escobar goes. Take a look via

Alcides Escobar is on an incredible streak for the Kansas City Royals. He has had a hit in every post-season game this year, now at eleven games. In that streak he is 18-45 (.400).  Alcides is in rare company as for an inside-the-park home run.  The feat has happen several times before him; but the last time it occurred was in 1929 by Mule Haas.
