WATCH: J.B. Shuck (Angels) Makes Catch of the Year

Angels’ Angels Rookie J.B. Shuck, who is playing Left Field while Mike Trout temporarily plays Center Field in place of an injured Peter Bourjos, is taking full advantage of his time in the Show.

Tonight, Shuck made a ridiculous leaping jump and landed in the stands just over the 330ft sign, robbing Toronto’s Jose Bautista of a two run HR in the top of the 4th inning of tonight’s game. Take a look:

Maicer Itzturis, who was on first base when the ball was hit, was awarded second base because the ball left the field of play.

This could very well be the best catch of the year, and will for sure be on everyone’s highlight real of the year’s top plays.
