WATCH: Texas Tech outfielder makes ridiculous diving catch to propel team to Omaha

Anytime the announcer just declares that you made “the catch of [your] life” you probably just did something special.  Texas Tech OF Devon Conley made a game-saving catch on line drive by College of Charleston SS Champ Rowland  to propel his Red Raiders team to Omaha for their first College World Series appearance in school history.  Check out the new big man on campus in Lubbock, as he snags an impossible line drive (via Youtube.com/techathletics).

Texas Tech’s sweep wins look like some sort of soccer score.  1-0, 1-0.  Here, it was 1-0 and 2 outs and a runner on 2nd base.  Don’t come up with this, and it’s tied with fate still to be decided.  As it was, inning over and the Cougars never sniffed a scoring chance again.
