WATCH: Yasiel Puig bat flip after walk nearly takes out umpire and catcher

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig is trying to be a better citizen of baseball.  Really he is. Even when he tries to be good, it can go awry.  Check out this bat flip after he walks, clearly no malicious intent, but a flipping piece of wood around and umpire or catcher’s head (with mask or not) doesn’t sit well (via MLB.com)

 

Next time, just drop the bat and walk slowly away.  Or as they say in the Godfather “Leave the gun, take the cannoli
