Welcome to the knuckler, Arencibia sets record for passed balls

And it took less than 2 innings.  J.P. Arencibia set a Toronto Blue Jays single game record with three passed balls on opening day, receiving the reigning National League Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey.  The knuckleballer struggled in his Blue Jays debut, and the passed balls help move runners around that led to a 2-0 deficit after 2 innings.

The Blue Jays may want to reconsider the demotion of Josh Thole, who caught Dickey for most of his 2012 starts, but was optioned to Buffalo (AAA) to start the season.
