VIDEO: Yankee teammates poke fun at Eduardo Nunez with chalk outline
It’s all fun and games as long as no one gets hurt. That appears to be the case, as New York Yankees IF Eduardo Nunez took an awkward tumble at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Wednesday night, and was greeted with a chalk outline (a la a crime scene) during batting practice.

RHP Joba Chamberlain and OF Vernon Wells were the two wise guys. It wasn’t quite as funny when Nunez was scratched on Thursday, but the injury does not appear to be serious. The Rogers Centre remains the only MLB ballpark with artificial turf.
This is straight out of the Yankees clubhouse prank playbook, as they pulled the same gag on Mariano Rivera after his devastating 2012 season-ending knee injury during BP at Kaufman Stadium.
