After six major league ball games, does anyone have a problem with crowning Yasiel Puig Rookie of The Year?  Let’s see, in his first week as a major league ball player, Yasiel got a hit in his first at-bat and also completed a game winning unassisted double play.  The next night he hit his first career home run and followed that up with a multi-homer game on back to back nights.  Did I mention he hit a grand slam?  With six games played, Puig is batting an astounding .438BA 4HR 10RBI and ten hits in his first week.

Yasielmania has finally given the Dodger fans a reason to cheer. He has demonstrated his five tool player abilities and shown that he can handle the big stage.  In tonight’s game against the Atlanta Braves, Puig showed Andrelton Simmons his best Jesse Barfield arm.  Take a look:

I know its only been six days, but baseball fans should be fortunate that he did not come from the United States. Yasiel Puig is 6’3 250lbs. If he were from here, he would be be on the gridiron instead of the baseball diamond!
