Rockets bringing in two Hall of Fame players to woo Dwight Howard
The Houston Rockets will do whatever it takes to land Los Angeles Lakers big man Dwight Howard, when free agency starts July 1st. Thus, the Rockets have landed a free agent dinner meeting with Howard and two former Hall of Fame players. Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler will accompany current Rocket players, James Harden and Chandler Parsons in a dinner to try to woo Howard to Houston.

After two years trying to land Dwight Howard to be the next in line of their franchise centers, the Rockets will finally sit down on Sunday for Dinner with Dwight.
Along with head coach Kevin McHale and general manager Daryl Morey, they will bring Hakeem Olajuwon, who has worked with Howard in the off-season, to make their case, along with fellow Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler. Chandler Parsons and James Harden, who have over the years developed friendships with Howard, will be there. Rockets owner Leslie Alexander, president Tad Brown and executive vice president of basketball operations Gersson Rosas will be part of the presentation.
Houston has tried to land Howard for a couple of years now and finally have a decent shot of doing so. They can’t offer as much money as the Lakers can, but they have a core that can complement Howard instead of Howard having to compliment Kobe Bryant. With Howard though, all bets are off until his signature is on that dotted line.
