Sharks sign teen with life-threatening condition.
Sports are a big part of American culture, and worldwide for that matter. Sometimes, organizations or players do things that exemplify exactly why sports are so popular. The San Jose Sharks recently made a dream come true for a 17-year-old with a life threatening heart condition: they signed him to a one-day contract.
In conjunction with the Make-A-Wish foundation, Sam Tageson was invited to a practice during the week and was honored at a game. Tageson has been a hockey fan his whole life, and the video below shows that the Sharks won something much bigger even though they lost the game Tageson attended.
