It looks as though things are going from bad to worse for the Arkansas Razorbacks. After struggling the entire season, yesterday Arkansas secured their fourth win of the season by beating Tulsa 19-15. After the team’s win, linebacker Terrell Williams decided to celebrate.
According to collegefootballtalk.com, Williams was arrested early Sunday morning for drinking and driving. Williams was booked into a detention center just passed 4am on Sunday and was released after posting bond. His court date has been set for December 14th.
Head coach John Smith announced today that Williams has been suspended indefinitely.
“I am very disappointed in the decisions made by Terrell Williams,” Smith said in a statement. “He did not represent himself or the University of Arkansas in a manner we expect and has been suspended indefinitely. We have high expectations for the actions of everyone in our program on and off the field, and our student-athletes will be held accountable.”
Williams is the team’s fourth-leading tackler and recorded seven tackles against Tulsa yesterday.
