Last Thursday, the Western Michigan Broncos helped one of their fans score the most important touchdown of the season. John Mulhearn, who’s father Sean played linebacker for the Broncos in the 1980’s, is bound to a wheelchair. Hoping to help him score his first touchdown, the Broncos’ offense and defense took to the field to help him.
Quarterback Zach Terrell handed the ball off to John who, with the assistance of coach P.J. Fleck, was wheeled through the defense and into the end-zone.
As he crossed into the end-zone, the entire team was there to celebrate with John on his first touchdown.
