Talk about a confidence boost. New Orleans Hornets (or Pelicans, I get confused) swingman, Eric Gordon, cruises through the lane and hammers-home a big jam on not one, but two capable Brooklyn shot-blockers.
That’s going to leave a mark! The often-injured Gordon can get up, but fans may forget this at times, and apparently Brook Lopez and Gerald Wallace fell asleep in the film room this week, because Eric Gordon just went hard!
This dynamic dunk came with about 6 minutes to go in the 4th quarter of Tuesday night’s matchup between the Hornets and Nets in Brooklyn. Gordon brought his club to within just 9 points (97-88) with this huge yack, but the Nets would outlast the the Hornets and walk away with the 108-98 victory on their home floor.
Gordon was the high man for the Hornets, finishing with 24 points in the loss. Brook Lopez had 26 points and 5 rebounds for the Nets and Deron Williams had 21 points and notched 13 dimes in the win.
Brooklyn is eyeing the post-season, while New Orleans is focused on their off-season and continuing to build around the great group of young players they have assembled so far.
