It may be time to stop allowing basketball players to throw out the first pitch at baseball games. Amir Johnson, who plays for the Toronto Raptors had a chance to show the world that hoops players can indeed, throw out a first pitch.
This didn’t exactly go the way Johnson hoped it would. Amir tossed out the first pitch at the Toronto Blue Jays game, that turned into grounder past the catcher. However, just when Johnson could have embarrassed himself even more he redeemed himself to a degree. Johnson called for another pitch and instead of throwing it back to the catcher, he earned some points with the crowd by heaving it into the second deck.
