One of the most exciting parts of the NFL was once the kick off return touchdown. That has been killed off in recent years with kickoffs being pushed up to the thirty-five yard line and with most kickers having ‘cannon legs’. This means that most kickoffs result in a touchback which is boring.
So we have to give kudos to Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back, Knile Davis, for not only taking a kickoff out of the end zone, but also scoring with an incredible one hundred and eight yard return.
Of course, this return didn’t really help the Chiefs as they fell 28-35 to fellow AFC West residents, the Denver Broncos.
