It’s about time someone went Skip on Skip.
Seahawks CB Richard Sherman appeared on ESPN’s First Take with Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith on Thursday where he made a little more than headlines. He probably made a bunch of new fans as he put Bayless on blast on live TV.
Bayless was trying to pressure Sherman into say that he was better than Darrelle Revis, and Sherman wasn’t about to be baited into anything so he took a few jabs at Skip.
“I’m the top of my field. I’m All-Pro. I’m one of the best 22 players in the NFL,” Sherman said. “You’re going to brush it off, but I don’t think you’re the best 22 anything. In sports. In media. In anything. I think you think more of yourself than you actually can prove. I’ll put it like this. In my 24 years of life, I’m better at life than you.”
It got to the point where Smith had to step in and ask the two to stop. This was classic TV, and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of watching it.
It sent social media sites into a frenzy after the segment, and many people sided with Sherman. There were a few that claimed he was a little to harsh, but the majority loved every minute of it.
