“Virtual Certainty” Tim Tebow Will Play For Jaguars Next Season
After the Jets announced that they will be going with Greg McElroy as their starting quarterback over Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow, it was released that Tebow would request for either a release or a trade to a team where he could have an opportunity to start.
Many speculated that he would go to the Jaguars for a variety of reasons; the roots to back home, the desperate need in Jacksonville for both a quarterback and attendance help, etc. Well, it looks like that will become reality, according to Adam Schefter.
And @mortreport reports it’s “a virtual certainty” that Tim Tebow will play in 2013 for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tebow has been on a unique ride the past few seasons. After earning the starting job for the Broncos last season, he led the team to a playoff appearance and defeated the Steelers in the first round. After being dealt to New York due to the arrival of Peyton Manning in Denver, many believed Tebow would eventually take over for Sanchez as the team’s starter. That never happened, and the Jets rarely used Tebow at all.
You have to believe that the Jaguars would give Tebow a chance as their starter at some point, which is all Tebow seems to be looking for.
