Warriors’ players give fans an encore after loss

The Golden State Warriors’ fantastic season came to an end on Thursday night at home against the San Antonio Spurs. The young Warriors’ squad battled hard, but cam up short to a physical, more experienced Spurs team, led by Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. Although Golden State came up short, that didn’t stop fans at Oracle Arena from sticking around to thank their team for the great season. Fans continued to chant for the Warriors after the game had ended, and the players responded by coming back out and thanking the fans.

Steph Curry led fans in the Warriors’ chant and thanked them all for their continued support. This was an ideal show of class and grace by the Warriors and their passionate fans. Players were interacting with fans near the tunnel, and showing a great sign of faith for the future of this franchise and their loyal fan base.

The Warriors have built a phenomenal team, with Steph Curry, David Lee, Harrison Barnes, Klay Thompson and the defensive-minded Andrew Bogut as their starters, as well as a huge lift from guys like Jarrett Jack and Carl Landry off the bench. The Warriors have also found a gem in head coach, Mark Jackson. This team appears to have a bright future and it, no doubt, starts with re-signing Jack in the off season.
