WATCH: Epic Bowl destination reveal makes Central Michigan football players go crazy

  • David Whitlock

Don’t tell me that bowl games aren’t important to college football players.  While moaning and groaning goes on for elite teams who did make the new College Football playoff, or didn’t get a destination they wanted, some teams in smaller conferences are just glad to make it to a bowl game.  Almost all of them aren’t going to the NFL, many won’t suit up in pads again after the season.  But they get one more game.  And they hope it is a warm destination.  Central Michigan (located in Mount Pleasant, MI, for those who didn’t already know) have been toiling up in the cold for a few months now.  But they will be going some place warm for a bowl game.  Watch as the team was presented (Jeopardy! style) five potential bowl destinations (from coldest to warmest, Boise-ID, Detroit-MI, Montgomery-AL, Mobile-AL, Boca Raton-FL, or Nassau-Bahamas).  Let’s just say they weren’t enthused about Boise or Detroit…and they weren’t disappointed (via You Tube; H/T to Fox Sports):

The Central Michigan Chippewas (7-5) will face off with the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (7-5) on Christmas Eve at Noon EST, you won’t want to miss it.  These guys will be there!
