WATCH: High school QB runs fake spike, tosses 7th touchdown for game-winner

  • Jim Racalto

A Georgia high school team flipped to the last page of the two-minute playbook to pull out a thrilling win over the weekend.

The top-ranked McEachern Indians led the North Gwinnett Bulldogs with nine seconds remaining when quarterback John Urzua faked a spike , then threw his seventh touchdown of the game. The TD gave the Bulldogs a 52-49 win.

The game itself had seven lead changes with four coming in the final quarter – so the fake spike for a TD is definitely a fitting end to such an exciting game.
