Just 3 days after his terrific performance against the Yankees, Jeremy Hellickson has been taken to the hospital after being hit in the head during the Rays batting practice today. Reports are there are no traces of bleeding and that the trip to the hospital is just a precaution.

Hellickson pitched 8 2/3 innings in his season debut, shutting out the Yankees this past Sunday 3-0.
